ownCloud – with legacy support App Reviews

The new version 2.02 of this APP is not working using specials characters in the password to meet the password complexity requirements (like the dot "." in the password). Please fix this because this APP is not usable if it cannot support complexe passowrds. The previous version of this APP was working great. Advise to all : Please do not update your APP with version 2.02 before this bug have been fixed. Regards.

They must have fixed the issues because this app is working great. A little slow sometimes when loading files but overall great app.

Pls dont pay to buy this apps. It doesnt work to upload any video from your iOS devices and this is simply cheating. They dont have any solutions about this problem

Does not work with lan servers. No option to connect to a local ip!! I want a refund.

Easy to deploy on the server end and the app integrates nicely. Well done. I will cancel my Dropbox account now.

ownCloud for iOS is a very polished app. I love being able to host my own cloud data but still have the convenience of apps like this. Thank you!

No admin functionality, only the bare essentials are offered with this app. Should be free!

Great for my class

App works fine. You can navigate to your files, loads fast and allows you to delete of local or local and server. Missing features: * You cant choose the quality of the picture if uploaded by phone. The app degrade the picture quality to almost null. At least a low, medium and high option. * You cannot open any word or excel files if theyre password protected. (Free apps does it) * No pictures preview or little icon so you know what file your opening * Dose not support Touch ID if protected by password * it would be nice to have a 2 steps confirmation to delete of the server (I already deleted files of the server meant to clear local cash)

Just dont waste your time asking for help, even if the problem is on their side, even if you have paid, you will have NONE! Zero star...

This is very much a version 1 - it does its stuff fairly reliably but badly needs a graphical and usability makeover. There is no Japanese translation as far as I can see. It has a very barebones feel and is downright clunky in places. 3 stars as it has promise and I dont doubt will be quite impressive in 6 months when the developers have added some bells and whistles to the basic skeleton. It appears to be under active development. For now, if you use/play with owncloud, it is certainly worth downloading.

As this client seems Dropbox-inspired, its hard not to compare the two. (iPad 2, iOS 5) Pros: looks nice, connected quickly, shows me my files, lets me upload pictures, uses the "open with" dialog well, can delete files, can create folders Cons: somewhat slow to download files (could be my server, Im a newbie), cant seem to preview PDF or odf files natively, cant preview mp3s with iOS player, cant choose (manage?) favorite files, setup screen doesnt seem to rotate to landscape view Its a good start, and Im hopeful that the team can add some of the above features or make them more obvious. I dont mind having spent 99 cents to try the app.

Owncloud itself is absolutely great tool. It is multi function with easy-to-install addons. You can build your own cloud leterally. However this app is not compatible with various add-ons. All you can do is to watch/upload images or download/upload videos and files. It is not compatible with video streaming, image previews, calendars, etc., etc. Seriously, what ownCloud makes special is its extensibility, so please make app catch up with it.

Macのブラウザからは普通にアクセスして利用できるのですが、iPhoneアプリでログイン時の情報を入力すると「server not found」となってしまいアクセスすらできません。入力ミスはあまりせん。 日本語のサイトがほぼないに等しいので困っています。

* クライアント環境 iOS9.0.2 iphone6s *サーバ環境 owncloud 8.1.3 CentOS 7.1 上記環境ではIt is not possible to connect to the server at this time.と表示され接続に失敗。 使用できません。 クライアント環境を、同iphone6sのSafariや、chromeにすれば問題なし。 Xperia Z3 compact、Z3 tablet compact上のAndroid版アプリやブラウザでも問題なし。 Windows、Mac版クライアントでも問題なし。
