ownCloud – with legacy support App Reviews

Why does background upload require location services to be enabled? I dont need photos geotagged. Otherwise, this works great with my owncloud instance. I just wish theyd fix some obvious shortcomings.

Worthless application, can access my folders, contacted support of the app and they just told me that they were aware of the issue. Thats it. iTunes i want my money back please

I am giving this app 5 stars as it works perfectly. The issues I had connecting were due to an improperly configured install. I correct the config issues and all is working properly now.

I needed to synchronize files between a home computer and a travel computer and wanted to do so across my NAS, without involving a third-party service. OwnCloud has been a great solution for me. Highly recommend.

Ive been looking for a Dropbox alternative, and ownCloud (along with my own NAS) provides this. This app, itself, is a bargain at $1 (the server software was free, the desktop client was free, so it is hard to quibble about the price), and brings the needed functionality to iOS. Set-up was extremely easy, and it "just works". It is also nice that it has the option to have a 4-digit security code to provide an additional layer of protection from anyone (well, maybe not the NSA) picking up your iOS device and snooping the contents.

ownCloud is great and it works very well. It works as you would expect it to and I havent run into a hitch yet. It even has the added benefit of being an active photo cloud storage. If you enable InstantPhotos in the app, whenever you take a photo on your device it will automatically upload it to your ownCloud server! That was an unexpected and very much appreciated feature.

Very very disappointed with this app OwnCloud needs to update this app. Theres no features and theres always upload issues. I recommend ownCloud updating there app like Nextcloud.

This application works great!

Good but missing one of the most useful feature. Its impossible for now to share a file and get the link the way it is possible though the web site.

The app crashes at the splash screen (the log says "segmentation fault") on my iphone 3gs :/

Too bad, link sharing works well on iPad but impossible to share a link with the iPhone app... App says "check if the file exists"...

Share a file is not possible, error: it is not possible to connect to the server at this time. Buy only for this... Owncloud 5 last on a Raspberry Pi

When I try to share one file from my cloud I am automaticaly logged out "username or password incorrect" appears. Please fix it!

A lot of bugs during login. Duplicates account created. Images are not previewed and are just black screen. Very disappointing...

To update to this version was a big failure... Now its impossible to open the settings to switch accounts and so on. Immediately crashes when I click on the settings-wheel...

app doesnt work properly, crushes all the time when clickking on settings. please fix. Thx

Syncing of contacts, calendar would be nice. I miss it.
